For roughly 3 years I've been pretty silent on the Grey Salt Collective Facebook group. However, when Gina Weathersby posted this recipe photo challenge I felt a re-charge! I happened to have some down time one evening so I whisked up (literally - a lot of whisking went into this recipe) each component then assembled it at the OMS studio the next day. It just so happened that Mary Seguin, a local food stylist, was in the studio and offered her skills to dress the tart! It blossomed into such a fun spontaneous shoot! I'm loving how each member of the group interpreted this recipe too.
This tart was not an easy task but totally worth it! You can find the recipe here. I made one large tart since I didn't have mini tart pans. I borrowed my friend Jenny's (Four Eyes Ceramics) adorable black pebble cake stand for a more modern look. Thanks for keeping me inspired Gina!!
