There is so much character decorating every corner, shelf, and window in Ally and Jeremy's house. Their style is a beautiful collection of history, both theirs and of the places they've traveled. The pink sun-bleached photograph is from when Ally owned an antique store in Newport, KY. It quickly became one of my favorite statement pieces in the room! The mantel has a captivating mix of tones and textures. In the frame that leans behind the box Jeremy's Grandfather carved, his Grandma drew the stoic Native American holding a bow. For those who know me, it wouldn't be a photo session without a jam session. Ally sampled some live tunes and Jeremy dropped beats from his epic record collection. Between the art and the music, they were so easy to be around. And their connection is deeply endearing.
Photographing a wedding is a special occasion for me because of my free time to work ratio. I feel lucky to be the one to capture this moment in their life. And maybe one day, my work will find a home among their treasures.
